Our project endeavors to create an advanced Driver Drowsiness Detection and Mitigation System to address the escalating safety concerns associated with drowsy driving. Fatigue- related accidents pose a significant threat on the roads, necessitating the development of cutting-edge technology to enhance driver awareness and prevent potential disasters. The proposed system integrates a sophisticated array of sensors, cameras, and monitoring devices to continuously assess a driver's level of alertness in real-time. Utilizing state-of-the- art image processing and machine learning algorithms, the system analyzes facial expressions, eye movements, and physiological indicators to identify signs of drowsiness. By employing a multi-sensor approach, the system ensures robust and precise detection, enabling timely interventions before a driver's alertness reaches a critical threshold. To validate the effectiveness of the system, extensive testing will be conducted under diverse driving conditions and levels of driver fatigue. Simulated scenarios will replicate real-world challenges, ensuring the system's reliability and adaptability across various environments. Ultimately, this project aspires to contribute significantly to road safety by providing a reliable and practical solution to drowsy driving.
