Overview: This project introduces a smart system designed to manage and organize the student dismissal process in schools. The goal is to reduce traffic congestion, accidents, and waiting times during student pickup hours. It provides a safe, efficient, and organized environment for students, parents, and school staff by integrating real-time technologies and effective communication tools. ⸻ Problem: Many schools face serious issues during student dismissal time, such as: • Heavy traffic congestion. • Increased risk of accidents near school gates. • Long waiting times for parents and drivers. • Poor coordination between school staff and guardians. • Overall stress and frustration for everyone involved. ⸻ Project Objectives: • Reduce traffic congestion around schools during peak hours. • Minimize accidents and safety risks. • Notify parents in real time when their children are ready to leave. • Allow parents to authorize others (like drivers or relatives) to pick up their children. • Monitor each student’s status (picked up or still waiting). • Improve school operational efficiency. • Enhance communication and trust between schools and parents. ⸻ System Features: • Parents notify the system upon arrival. • The student’s name appears on screens inside the school. • School staff receives pickup instructions in real time. • Pickup confirmations are sent to parents. • Parents can securely assign someone else to pick up their child. • The school dashboard displays each student’s real-time status.
